Title: 7-9-10 split
Post by: Smash49 on April 29, 2009, 10:12:16 AM
A couple of weeks ago I left one and blew everything into the pit except the 7-9-10.  The guy I was bowling went ...  Holy !@#$ where'd the pins go?  I did it again Monday night.  HHHMMMM..... ok that was weird.  This afternoon I finally got to see it in slow motion.  The 4 went last so it's just another variant of the 4-9.....  Strange that this is the first time I have been having this....   Chalk it up to old age I guess...lol

I made the 7-10 one time but the best shot I ever made was the 7-9-10! Thrilling!

I've actually made it twice. Was shocked that I left it, but even more surprised I made it.

I thought off spot pins but I have done it on three different lanes.  It's just my knack of leaving 4 9's.

I've left a 9-10 split before but never the 7-9-10.  When I did leave that 9-10, it was on a light flush hit (I'm a lefty) after 10-in-a-row.  Shot 287 that game...

7-9-10 if you think about it is just a variant of the Greek Church essentially. At least in the few times i've left it the 4 and 6 got taken out in interesting fashions. I've left the 7-9 once though on a hit that just left me puzzled as it looked just like the previous shots, a tad high in the pocket with mild entry angle.

I was bowling pots with chitown last night.
He left the 7-9-10 on the right lane...
I said wow, how'd that happen, I didn't see the ball?
I got up on the same lane and left the same leave...
He's RH and I'm LH????

Last week in league, a guy on the opposing team left the 7-9-10 and picked it up.
