800 Ring Price of Upgrade???
« on: January 23, 2004, 11:32:14 PM »
Hey guys and gals, long time no talk. It's been awhile since I've been
here on the boards. It's good to be back. To make a long story short, I shot my first 800 series last night (1/23/04) in a Friday night winter league. It was a
great experience and I feel extremley relieved! I barely cleared the mark with an 803 series.

Anyways, does anyone know how much it costs to get these rings Upgraded?
I didn't see a price on the ABC handout I was shown last night (unless I was blind hehe). One of the other bowlers in the league who shot 800 a few years
ago said he upgraded his to a 14K for like over $300? Does it really cost around
that amount of $$$ Any kind of info would help!

Regards,
Ramil

A guy on my Tuesday league upgraded both his 300 and 800 ring.  They ran him almost 1100 for both.  That was a month ago or so.

Call Keepsake. They are very helpful. The upgrades depend on the style of ring and the size of ring. Ballpark for my little hands was between $375 to $425 in September - if I remember right.

Great shooting!

Be prepared to spend about $450 or so.. I would go ahead and get the regular issue (siladium) ring now and you can upgrade later on. They (the ABC) only give you a $50 credit towards the purchase of the gold upgrade.

Nice shooting by the way. I remmeber my first one and it was great..

I upgraded to the Elite 800 ring 2 years ago... the price was just above $500.  I did the Keepsake payment plan of 6 payments of $80ish for 6 months (no interest).  Worked well for my budget.
