Title: 800 Series Witnessed In League Last Night With This Ball...
Post by: Necromancer on December 21, 2016, 12:30:10 PM
I knew it!  I knew it!  I saw the ball and I knew there would be a high series but what I saw last night made me a believer in the Quantum.  Yeah, yeah, all balls are pretty much the same right?  No way.  I believe more than ever that Quantum balls are perfection.  Anything more or less.  Anything that hooks more or less.  Anything added or subtracted would be imperfect.  Corner pins were taken out almost at will on light hits, strong hits, high pocket, Brooklyn...

I've seen 300 games several times, but 800 is on another level.  I don't care how easy the shot is.  Tell your oil man to create the best THS ever and I'd put money on that 800 ain't happening.

Wish I bought the Green Quantum instead of the Pitch Black this week.  But oh well.

What is your greatest witness in terms of bowling?

P.S.  We lost all 3 games and points while my slump continues as I bowled a dazzling 130 for the first game. :(

I bought a ball and masked it.  Kinda like Ford or GM does to pre production cars at testing.  This way when I bowl 800 series every 2 weeks,  noone knows my secret ball and can't order it.  Sneaky isn't it buahahahahaha!!!!

×of course all sarcastistic*

800s are bowled with every ball maker.  My buddy throws a old rubber ball in warm ups and carries crazy with it.  It is nice to see a thicker coverstock tho.

I saw a local guy go 299, 300, 300 last February.

Too bad he didn't have a Quantum when he threw that first ball in game one.  ::)

I think when someone throws an 88 it is a whole lot more skill than the ball the bowler is using. For example some lanes will carry the light hit better than a flush pocket shot so the skilled bowler will play the light shot. Not saying the ball isn't a good ball but I would bet that this particular bowler isn't a 150 bowler, probably in the twos.

I shot 800 2 years ago with a Nugget by the Prospector.

This ball was made in 1997... Ball is a boss and should be up for ball of the year  8)

a decade ago, a friend who was in his late 50's had shot 800 with X factor deuce, then 2 days later, another 800 at the same house with an Eraser PBT. In that same week also shot 3 300's, one was at another house missing another 800. Amazing week for him...... If I remember well, he was in a slump and complained he needed a break from bowling....
