Get fitted and find out.
More than likely, your span will be very close, but unless you're very neutral, you'll need to change your lateral pitches. I can throw my right handed stuff lefty for a few games because I'm at "0" lateral in the thumb, but the finger pitches wouldn't be good for me long term.
If you just want to experiment to see if your injury heals, try it and see. If the switch is more than likely permanent, you'll probably want to get re measured and re drilled. I know if I were to change permanently, I'd want to drop at least a pound of ball weight to start. I throw it well, but at 13 mph, I'm rev dominant and I need to throw plastic most of the time.
