900 Global Break Out..have a question..please help
« on: July 18, 2010, 07:50:18 PM »
I basically throw Storm/Roto. Recently my friend gave me a NIB Break Point Pearl. Awesome ball. I was just curious if Storm/Roto had anything that would be similar to the Break Out. I have all Storm/Roto equipment with the exception of the BPP right now. I am thinking about adding some 900 stuff to my arsenal. Would i see a lot of overlap with the 3 brands? Any help is appreciated.

As far as what in their lines would be similar to the break out, I can not be certain as I have not thrown much of it. I would think its somewhere in the mutant cell area being a little more angular off the spot then some of the heavier type balls although I am not sure it would handle quite as much oil and maybe someone else can chime in here.

As far as the overlap, it all depends on what you have and how they are drilled. The bpp is gonna a be longer and more angular pearl ball. Great piece and would like to get my hands on one really.

You mention getting a BreakPoint Pearl, but you asked which Storm ball is similar to the BreakOut. Is that correct?

If so, I would guess that the BreakOut's general ball reaction is close to that of the Virtual Gravity. The one my friend had a breakpoint that was almost sharper than that of many VG's.
