Cav

Lol Milo . . and although I won't say you're wrong cav, I've gotta give a very serious vote for the Primal Rage.  The ONLY thing with it is that it's on the strong side, but it's basically like a bigger hooking Hyroad.  It's impossible for anybody to make it look bad. 

Everyone's opinion is different. So many factors to consider, lane conditions, bowlers release, surface finish and drilling. For me, the best balls ever made were the U-dot, Danger Zone and Virtual Gravity. But, both the U-dot and Danger Zone would be little more than a spare ball now with the new oils and lane surfaces. I must say that the new Storm IQ Fusion is destined to make my list of best ever.

I do LOVE my HyRoad and how it works for me. It's a personal preference though and you may get others to agree, but there are SO many other nice balls out there that work as well or better for other bowlers too. I'm cheap and won't put out big bucks every time a new "rave" ball appears. I loved my original Cell many moons ago and it was my "go to" ball, but now it's 2nd or 3rd out of the bag. Time changes, conditions change and so do bowling balls. Glad that you enjoy working with your HyRoad. It's a GOODIE by my line of thinking! Enjoy!

IMO, the Hy-Road is a great ball in the right situation.  I tend to prefer my Nomad Dagger over the Hy-Road on most THS shots.  In my case, it seems that the Hy-Road tends to perform better on sport or tournament patterns where I need to have something cleaner up front and/or more of a benchmark type reaction.  On THS, as vkowalski1970 mentioned, it can be too clean sometimes, leading to over/under.

That being said, there are a lot of great bowling balls out there that are very similar.
