Title: A 300 question
Post by: rabbit_sla on November 07, 2004, 11:57:29 PM
Last night I missed one strike for a 300, but this 300 spanned the last 7 strikes in game 2 and first 2 then spare and then 2 more in game 3.  Does anyone know what this type of 300 is called?  I have heard it before but cannot remember.

An "Andy Verapappa"(sp) is any 12 strikes consecutively.  For example, the last eight of one game, followed by the first four.  I'm not certain what the name of the 300 you're looking for mightbe, but that's the only one I can think of that resembles your scenario.

7+2+2=11

Now, I'm only a public school garduate, but don't you need 12 strikes for 300?

Actually that's not even a Varipapa 300 you described.  Maybe a Varipapa 279?...
