Ok, whilst holding the ball, you get some extra fingers ( the ones on the outside), is it good to keep the straight and close to the other fingers or push then outward, and if so by how much?

can you over stretch them?

p.s. Sorry for the lack of descriptive ability, its early.

The degree that you load and lock your wrist through out the entire back swing and follow through really dictates how much you hook the ball, which depends on the shot at any given time.

ehhhh, not always true. I dont cup my wrist almost at all, and I get pretty high revs. Main rule of thumb I go by is this:

Tucked Pinky-more lift and sideroll
Pointer Finger Spread Out-more sideroll
point pulled in tight-more forward roll
pink tight in-more sideroll
pinky stretched out-more forward roll
pinky untucked-less lift and sideroll

then make any combo of them you like.
