Many of you on here know that the Buffalo, NY area has its share of pro bowlers and a lot of good amateurs. The same goes for nearby Rochester, NY, the Southern Tier of NY, and Southern Ontario. Well, now bowlers will be able to join a brand new tour called the Greater Buffalo Bowlers Tour starting in March.
Basically the tour will have 6 different stops and a Tournament of Champions. All patterns will be sport compliant or a modified THS. Also, current pro bowlers or bowlers who have won on the Pro Tour in the past 10 years are not eligible. Tournaments have a $50 entry fee and a dress code will be enforced (the tour organizers want the bowlers to look professional).
I have to say it's nice to have a new tour and it may be worth checking out.
