I recently got a vhs to dvd converter and converted bob learn's record breaking show in Erie,turned out pretty decent.

p.s.
I have tons of older PBA telecasts.

I love the dvd recorders. I got just the recorder and hook my VCR through the inputs and do the same thing. You can just do it easier, lol. Do you have a DVD plus or minus recorder.

That's probably much easier than my method. I have a DV camera that will do analog-in. I connect the output of my PVR to the input of the camera to get the shows onto DV tape, then pull that onto my computer using Ulead's Moviefactory. At "Good" quality, 90-minutes per DVD, I get a pretty decent show. Unfortunately, only one show per disc (two at 120-minute, but the picture's not that great) and I gotta do it all by hand.
