a good drilling

What would be the most aggressive drilling for a cell? stacked leverage or pin under ring finger with the mass under the thumb hole.

depends entirely on what oil conditions you are throwing on...

And if you throw a super aggressive drilling on a Cell, I hope you have an absolute friggin' flood to throw it on.  The ball is strong enough as is, you don't need to throw stacked leverage on it to make it react.  You will get more versatility and better carry on 90% of conditions with a little weaker drilling.  When you do find a ton of oil, just use a little extra surface or slow down and move right a couple boards.

we have the TOC pattern in our league this week and nothing moved for me that last couple of times so went and got the cell.  50 ft oil pattern.

depends on your revs...

I got a bal drilled at Kegal for internatonal long patterns (in the 45ft range) and they put the pin below my ring finger (about 5.75" pin) and the MB at about 45 degrees... works a treat!!

NOTHING's gonna move on the TOC pattern more than a few boards unless you have an insane amount of hand.  Use a lot of surface (not too much, or the ball will hook TOO early), slow down, stay behind the ball, and point it at the headpin.  My revs are pretty low and my speed pretty high, but I still shot 240something in practice on that 50ft shot a couple weeks ago with my Cell despite having a weak drill on it.  I just treated it like I was throwing a plastic ball at the headpin.  Play direct and take the lanes out of play as much as possible.

What we are trying to say is that "strong" is relitive... it entirely depends on the pattern and the way you throw the ball...

I would have to disagree with Dan on how to play the 50ft pattern though... I would treat it like a regular long pattern... start deep, and play tight.

That's how I treated it because I have a low rev rate.  I tried playing in once the shot broke down some and I could get more than two boards of movement.  Weak 10, weak 10, weak 10, weak 7, weak 10...  My carry was infinitely better pointing it left from 6 at the arrows.  I had to create entry angle since the lanes were SO tight.  (I got the same exact ball reaction last night when I tried throwing my Ice Storm plastic spare ball on a house shot that I got from throwing my Cell at 500 abralon on the TOC shot. )
