1250 or higher, 5 man team............
« on: May 01, 2006, 01:41:53 AM »
My team shot 1281 scratch a couple weeks ago during league. We set a city record and all (previous was 1270) but a couple people mentioned that it was an honor score, anything 1250 and higher is considered one. Does anyone know if this is true or not. Just kind of wondering since we had our banquet and nothing was mentioned.

All I see in the rule book is in Chapter 3.  For teams, the only awards available for scoring are national high-game or high series awards.  For a 5-man team, you need 1325 or higher to qualify.  I don't see anything about 1250+ team game awards.

Not that it makes what y'all did any less impressive.  Good job.
