Thats a big alley..116 lanes. I wounder how long it takes to oil all those. The biggest alley in the world had 252 lanes on 2 floors, but think ive read that it was destroyed in an earthquake or something like that.

116 lanes is indeed big.

The biggest I've ever seen is Carolier Lanes which is like 80.

94 at Thunderbowl in Allen Park, MI. That place is pretty big, but far from the nicest bowling alley. I couldn't imagine 256 lanes.

Back in the 70s Willow Grove Lanes near Philadelphia, PA had 116 lanes as I recall.  They are now closed as far as I know.

Freeway Lanes - Wickliffe at one point was the largest in the country I believe. It has 96 lanes. They have (had?) "Bowl your Brains Out" (unlimited bowing) for 3 hours starting at 9pm for like $7.95/person, and they filled the place up almost every time!

On edit - Wickliffe is an eastern suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.

I don't remember how big it finally ended up, but the last time I was at Showboat in vegas, it was 106 lanes.

Hey Michael,
Your Bowling Center in Douglasville, GA has two pro shops and they are owned by different people. The Storm seminar for the Virtual was there and everybody made a comment about having two pro shop, but only one was open and helped with the seminar and drilling.
