Some people on E-bay....
« on: November 30, 2008, 12:53:17 AM »
just don't have a clue, do they?  Was perusing this morning and came across this auction.  Not only is the starting price for what he's selling a bit high, but the shipping is TOTALLY ridiculous!

You wouldn't pay $150 to ship a tropical storm, a white dot, and a 2-ball bag on top of the $90 starting bid?

Nope, they don't. That's a case, if anyone wanted to spend the time, to complain to ebay about shipping cost and they'd probably make him lower it or cancel the listing.

Just another reason I'm getting out of the ebay auctions, that and the higher ( seems like everyday ) cost of the store.

I agree crack head.  But you see description light use for one tournament you see the pick of the tropical storm where was the tournament, in a parking lot?

Something musthave changed since this was posted.
As of Sunday, Noon, Eastern time, I see a starting price of $69.99 and shipping of 39.99. Not unreasonable for 2 balls and 2 ball roller.
The description lacks a LOT. The Storm and the bag look beaten up.

Charlest, you are correct, the listing has been changed.  It was starting at $89.99 with shipping adding on $100 for loss protection.

Charlest,

Yeah, guess I'll delete this post in a bit.  The original post had $89.99 starting price and $152.** shipping, originally.

It doesn't change the fact that some sellers on Ebay are not .... experienced. and do post some strange crap.
