AMF Summit house patterns
« on: August 31, 2009, 02:38:32 AM »
Does anyone have any pattern that they use for a "walled-up" house pattern?  With the new leagues starting, we are looking for a higher scoring pattern this year at the center and was curious if anyone on here was using the HVO Summit for their league patterns and if they could pass along some information.  Scores tend to be low in our house, with less than 50 honor scores in the 25 years existance of the center and we are looking to change that some this year.  Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

Tell the mechanic to make sure the side kick plates are in uptimum condition.  New ones installed would be nice.

the gutters are the minimum depth.  You can leave the left gutter  LOL

The pit cross wise tilt is 0 or as close as possible

The front to back tilt is at the maximum (back lifted).

New pins (they do take a month or so to break in), but if the mechanic wants to take the time to round off the bottoms they will fall easier faster.

That is a high scoring house.

Put any pattern on such a center and it will be high scoring.

I love Summit house patterns, if your Kegel cleans too well the house shot goes nasty over under and i get caught in tweener hell!!(although it does help sport patterns play real well!!) Never had a Summit house shot go like that on me

Those pattern wont work with a summit machine, you have to program each one of the 6 tanks for the summit.  Thanks for the info though!

Yeah I know we could always put new sidekicks in or raise the gutters, but I know there has to be some easier house patterns for the summit.  Ive bowled in Baltimore at Country Club and they used a summit and they would be very easy sometimes.  Just looking for something to make the people enjoy it more and for most house bowlers, that means they wanna strike.

Adrian,
Can you get me the info on some of those patterns?

No it has 6 different wicks, 3 on the left and 3 on the right, so you have to program the footage for each tank
