Lifes a GAME . . . Bowling is SERIOUS!

It takes a while to download, Also do you have quick time. have you associated your media files with another program lately. if you have instaled any type of media viewer lately you may have a conflict somewhere. For windows media player open , go to tools , go to options , select file types and it should reassociate your file to windows unless they are specific like .mov quick time or real player.....

Because it takes forever to download, but it does work.
The first thing that sticks out in my mind is how you step off of the shot. This is probably one of the most common problems in league bowling.
To have a consistant & balanced release, you need to stay in your shot after you've thrown the ball.
I can't think of any incredibly successful bowler that falls out of their shots.
From what I can see in the video, theres a good chance the reason you fall off of the shot is because you're slide foot is too far right. This leads to most of your body weight hung out to the left, with no foot under you to balance.
To resolve this you will need to do one or more one of the following.
1) Not lean left as much, centering your body over your slide more.
2) Compensate for the lean by taking a larger step left with your slide foot.
3) Don't "pop up" out of your shot so much. While this works well for Walter Ray, it is pretty unorthodox & unless you've got the skills of WRW I wouldn't reccommend it. Besides, you shouldn't lose much if any power on the ball since it looks like the ball is a good 5-10 feet down the lane before you pop up & step out of the shot.
Other than that, I'll leave it to others to tear you apart since I have very little knowledge of the mystery of the cranker's release & timing.

15 years and still going strong! 15 years old that is!
The names Warrior Princess, Xena..Warrior Princess
AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique
And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

i cant see the vid....

Thanks for the comments everyone!

in my own defense, I will say that I don't generally pop up like that on every shot. I did that time strictly because I was more than anything trying to show the path the ball takes to the pocket...and the ensuing strike
But moreover the path the ball has to the pocket. I have another one with a much more solid release, right here...

that's just to show balance at the line. We were just bowling for the camera so to speak, i just swung it out to 1 to show off a little
About the elbow: It's something I've not really ever paid attention to, but I did notice it in the video, and it suprised me. As far as my span goes, I actually use an extended fingertip. I do leave a little bit of my thumb out of it, as in i don't jamb it all the way in, because it's more comfortable for me, and to be honest I think i'm more accurate with it as far as my releases go.
And as far as being left handed...well...heh. Natural Born Cheater says it all, huh?
and no, I use all three, 2 fingers and thumb, you oughta see the size of the ligament in my lower forearm that connects to the wrist...from years of baseball and bowling.

I'd say he is more of a tweener with hand.

No need for a Fuze Detonator... I'll just blow the pins away with my Hammer Sling Blade!
what's a tweener?

Nice balance at the line that time.
Just a few other things I noticed in the second video.
These are just suggestions that might help you bring your game to a new level. As with ANY changes, they will take a while to work into your game. But after a small dip in scores, you'll come back better than ever
1) You might want to try starting out with the ball further left. This will reduce the lateral moverment of the ball. As it is now, you start with the ball centered & have to swing the ball out left before you can bring it down. This adds another movement, more muscles, and makes it harder to hit the same target consistantly.
2) You have no push away to speak of.... at all...
A good push away puts the whole shot into motion. It adds consistancy to your timing, and imparts even more potential energy into the ball for a bigger boom at the back end. Here's the trouble, a different push away will mess with your timing something fierce when you first start to use it. You will think that you forgot how to bowl all together.
3) Although it's not critical, and is kind of "cookie cutter" suggestion, shortening up your third step will lead to even more power & leverage in your throw.
Like I said earlier though, the consistancy & power you will gain after it becomes part of your swing will by far outweigh the troubles you had learning. PLUS, you've got a whole summer to learn
I switched from a 5 to a 4 step approach & completely changed my swing & timing over the summer. I started out leagues this year +24 pins above my average from the year before.
