Why is it that all of you right handed bowlers feel that a lefty never has to adjust? Do you honestly think we can stand in one spot and throw strikes all night? Or is this some kind of strange joke that started before I got here because I'll tell ya something. Last night alone, I had to adjust four boards on my approach and two on the lane over three games. That's more than most righties I have seen. So to all you holier than thou righties thinking you got it so rough in the bowling world, all I can say to you is pthhhhht!!!

I've bowled with a VERY good lefty at Nationals and a couple of other tournaments (Lilac City and Hoinke Classic).  I have yet to see this person use any other arrow but 10.  This is definitely NOT a slam since this person uses a Blue Hammer - the one with the white letters.  I'm actually a just a little bit jealous because the bowler can beat the target to death all afternoon.  It's fun to watch

Apparently i have missused a bowling term. When I say boards I mean the little boards that I line my feet up with. Am I right in using that term? The reason I ask is because to move 40 boards you would be in the neighboring lane wouldn't you? The lane itself is only 43 inches? wide, 1 board per inch, to move 40 boards and still be anywhere near the lane you would be moving from one side to the other. I have never seen a righty or lefty move anywhere near that far unless they go from three finger to palming it. Usually i am the only lefty on my lanes, 1 guy on my team is a straight bowler, so that means usually six people bowl on the right side, for three games. I have never seen an adjustment like some of you are talking about. If your on the last lane and have to move 40 boards, your gonna hit the wall.

and angstfilled, no nosebleeds, but I do get lightheaded occasionally from all that shifting around.
