So what world of trouble are you in if you have a weight hole on your PAP and you thump it?

If it is indeed at your PAP then you must have a high rev rate or a slow speed with a lot of tilt. Try:

1) using less aggresive covers
2) using higher RG balls
3) drill flare decreasing x-holes
4) keep pin at more stable positions (not as close to 3 3/8 from your PAP)

Steve welocome to my world of high rev rateI have in the past had a hole no more than 2 inches to the right of my center of grip and I have hit it.  I have a high track and a very high rev rate, so much that I have flared all the way around a ball.  I have a special agent that I get 9 inches of flare out of.  Now onto your anser.... you WILL hit any hole to the right of my VAL but I have figured out a way to get one on my pap without hitting it.  It all depends on where the bowtie (the point where your track intersects intself) is located.  For me I tested many balls and determined anything with the pin below the fingers my bowtie will be just above my fingers, meaning that if I put the hole on my PAP I will actuall hit the finger holes before I hit the wieght hole (this has never happened BTW), so I would suggest that you determine where the bowtie will be and go from there.  This way you will have some general idea of where to put the weight hole, I have also had sucess with drilling the finger holes very deep to remove weight from the ball also.

The only sure thing about luck is that it's bound to change....

Yes, very high rev rate.  I don't necessarily flare the whole ball, but I've counted as high as 21 visible oil rings.  There is only one ball that I thump the PAP, and that is my Trauma ER.  Pro shop guy says I'm just coming out of it wrong.
