Abbey Road - Kegel Pattern

I bowled on this pattern over the weekend, and did struggle right from the start.  Is this pattern suppost to be that flooded?  I couldn't get my Virtual Gravity to nudge.

I've bowled on Kegel patterns (including the Abbey Road pattern) in two houses -- one wood, one AMF HPL synthetics.  I've noticed that the wood house doesn't give me much trouble with the volume of oil, but I have yet to bowl well in the synthetic house in any tournament on any of the Kegel shots there because I apparently need to use a lot more surface on the Kegel shots there than I do on any other condition at any other house.
