Good drilling for a 1" pin?
« on: April 06, 2004, 03:47:11 AM »
I just bought a Shooter on Ebay and the pin is 1 inch.  I am wanting to get a good skip/strong arc kind of reaction.  What would be a good way to have this ball drilled?

315 degree layout maybe? try this : http://www.rollrite.co.uk/secrets.php?id=11

"The ball should deliver a smooth, hard arc on the backend, even when release mistakes are made. The amount of hook is generally the same, and the ball follows the same path, even if you attempt to 'hit it a bit harder' or 'back off' the release."

i use it on a ball i use for dry conditions or over/under conditions(purple buzzsaw 1inch pin)

top weight can be an issue though...mine requires a weight hole...but still is fine...just look around the drilling forum via search function in forums about 315 drilling and you find some info

yeah I was reading about that and the top weight is pretty high like 3.25 but they hole can be added, and the fingers drilled deep.
