Just wondering what the pits are lined with.  Almost converted a 7-10 Thursday night subbing in a scratch league, and was wondering what are we trying to bounce pins off of when picking up a difficult split like that.  I am guessing some kind of carpeted mats, but not really sure.  I have been behind the pinsetters before but was looking more at the machinery than down into the pits.  Thanks for any info.
