I was reading that site a lot during my summer vacation. The stories with all the shi-ttake, hoopin, and hollerin were great. Also, I couldn't imagine Baldo going up against Rudy Revs for thousands of dollars per game- at 3:00 in the morning several years ago.

These stories are legendary.  Action bnowling like this is hard to find these days.  It was so big in the 80's everywhere!  I used to pot bowl for $100/$200 (that means $100 per game and $200 on totals, two game sets) all night long. The manager would lock the bowling center doors after closing hours... and we'd bowl till the sun came up.  We'd send one of the lane attendants for breakfast. Nevfer moved pairs.

You guys talk about bowling on dry lanes... pfffft!  Bowl non-stop on the same pair for 10 hours and then you'll know what scorched is.  That's how I learned to play 5th and 6th arrow.  I suck at it now, but for a while I was pretty decent.

Damn, I miss those days.
