« on: December 15, 2008, 11:29:11 PM »
Hello All

I need some advice for a  4 Ball-Roller I have been using the STORM listed here...

http://www.bowlingball.com/Bowling-Bag-2389/storm-rolling-thunder-4-ball-roller.html

but it didn't hold up so I was hoping some of you that are using something else could chime on in with what you like to use...Thanks

Stick with KR/Brunswick. Stay away from C300.

3 ball in-line roller plus a clip bag for the handles. Easier to handle...

thanks for the heads-up dizzyfugu but a man my age needs the 4 ball roller. I can see me lifting a 3 ball in-line roller and tweeking my back at some point

I really like the 4 Ball-Roller as it can be split into two parts for a old fart like me!!

Whatever you do, stay away from the Columbia 4-ball wheeler. The zippers don't last.

Yes stay away from Columbia.

I had one break after 5 months, took 3 months of calling and emails and transit time to get my replacement.  Well 4 months later my replacement breaks....screw it I decided no more bag im not going through this again.

Whats nice about the KR and brunswick bags because KR makes them too is if you live in IL like i do you can take ur bag too KR if something breaks. I had 2 smaller bags break on me. No charge to get fixed.  Something to think about Brunswick bag are KR just with a few more dollors in price.

KR Eliminator 4-ball roller for me, I've had mine for 3+ years now without any issues.  The wheels look and feel flimsy but are holding up strong, even after rolling them through some horrible parking lots and tossing it into the back of my truck all the time.  Also, if you want you can convert it to a 6-ball roller with a kit for around $65.00.

Bowlersdream.com has the 4-ball Eliminator bag for $124.95 + shipping:
http://www.bowlersdream.com/kreliminator4.html

Here's the link for the 6-ball conversion kit for $64.95 + shipping:

Hope this helps,

I have an older Storm I am in year 4 with it and it is fine.  It has metal handles on the side of both bags to tote in and out of the car.  I have not had one of the 7 or 8 zippers give me any problems and the base/dollie is like new.
I have checked it on a plane before and it survived.

The KR is the bag to have.  Mine is well over 10 years old.  I have brolken the handle and super glued it back together at least 3 times.  The thing rolls well and takes a beating.  The only thing I do not like about mines is that I have to take the top bag off to get to the bottom section.  I use a Storm tote as the 5th wheel.
