Title: Advice on Pre bowling
Post by: 2EZ on March 02, 2006, 12:46:50 AM
I'm hoping some of you on this board can give me some recommendations on pre bowling.  I have never pre bowled before, but the every-other mixed league I bowl in on Sunday's with the wife next meets the same weekend I will be bowling in the State Tournament.  Because I can't be there, my wife and I have decided to pre bowl the Sunday before.

My question to you is this:

Do I have to pay extra to get the 900 ring in gold or is it free?  If I do have to pay, can anyone tell me how much it is?  And, lastly, would you suggest I pay the extra for the gold, or wait to pay gold on the multiple 900 ring, assuming I will probably pre bowl again sometime in my career.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

I do believe there is a special edition "pre-bowl" 900 ring available.  Im pretty sure it comes in gold, and does not cost extra... this limited edition ring comes with a new engraving also "bbblllluuusssshiiitttt""

You should just see if you can get the multi 900 ring.

I don't know what the ring costs, but if you want multiple 900's, you better tip the lane man!

Remember, it is best to prebowl sometime between the hours of 3AM and 5AM.  If this is not possible just make sure that no one is actually watching you.  You may wish to take a refresher course on the workings of automatic scorers, so as to be able to override any "errors" yourself.

I'm thinking of prebowling a 1500 for the 5 game tournament I have Sunday.  Would any of you care not to watch?  Also, since I'm thinking of it, do I actually have to go near the lanes?  Or can I just submit my scores directly to the tournament director?
