Stupid Question... what's the deal with "BallReviews Tournaments"?

What exactly is that section?

Just once I'd like to show up at a place with the lanes FLOODED 45 feet down and flat.  That way I can watch these crankers struggle to find the pocket and leave splits while I come straight off the corner and do nothing but make 4 pins and 10 pins all night.

The BFDT and Scratch Doubles "tournaments" are really virtual leagues, where forum posters create teams that compete against each other each week, using the scores they bowled in their "real" leagues.

Needless to say, it's all on the honor system, and it's just for fun.  There aren't any awards or prizes given out at the end of the season.

It's just for fun, but the competition is fierce!

this site used to be combined with the tournament feature that's now on virtualtournaments.com, but that's not what's being referred to here.
