What are the hardest houses in the US?

The reverse to the previous question.  In this area it would have to be Parkway lanes in Trenton, MI. There can often be an ob with no hold in the middle like a reverse block but not as drastic and when they transition you better be ready to move every couple frames.

PlaMor in Coldwater Ohio. Bowled a regional there back in August. Granted they used the PBA World Championship pattern (which is tough to start with), but we had 13 exempt players in the field and the cut was still only +52 for 8. A unusal portion of those exempts were under for the tournament. Anyone who participates in the Central regionals know they are almost a weekend stomping ground for the exempts in the midwest/central regions.

A guy in our Thursday night league moved down here right before the start of the year after averaging 198 up there last year and has been pushing 235 all season. He was telling me it was routine for there to be maybe 2-3 guys average 200 there for the season including a 40 man scratch classic league.

Rusch's in Kimberly WI Pins are like logs, and the owner doesn't like big scores coming from his house, he actaully dared my friends and I to bowl their for a season, he was saying none of us would average over 2.

Rusch's has very very very few 7s and even fewer 3s.

Gold Country Lanes in Sutter Creek CA. They only oil their lanes about 3-4 times a week, and that's just on league nights.

Id have to agree...Lol....I bowl in Sacramento.  We have something called a Match Club and we've bowled at gold country several times....He who shoots 600 is king....Doesnt happen too often...on the upside of things Jackson Rancheria is right up the road....I usually win there..

jc in lexington sc, only one 300 ever bowled in the house and it been around for atleast 20 years. if your ball isn't destroyed by the potholes it will be in the left gutter ten feet down the lane. big crankers must be in front of the ball return at the start of practice.
