Tell us something we don't know......about yourself
« on: May 06, 2003, 11:50:59 AM »
We all know a little about each other.  For example its well known that The Peach picks up tons of chicks, Ragnar is a librarian, Doc Hollywood is a chiro, Sawbones is a retired MD, Scott Scriver fired Leftside, Leftside whines and cries a lot, Can You Rev lives in AR where the sheep are scared, Roger is really presto and he gets mad easy, Phil is the president of Dyno, Strider is a failed detective, Magic Carpet owns a bowling center, etc.  However, it would be interesting to find out what we don't know so how about telling us a little info about you that we don't know?  And to keep this bowling related so it does not get locked or deleted, I bowled today.

I'll start off:

I was born and raised in San Francisco.  I come from a family of 7, 4 brothers, mom and dad.  Yes thats 5 boys and no girls (poor mom).  I am second oldest and my brothers are all pchee's also, thus my user name pchee2.  All of us are college graduates and we all are very athletic.  I am the least outrageous out of all my brothers.  They are all more wild than me (I bet you find that hard to believe).

My hobby is taking care of animals.  I volunteer for animal rescue organizations such as Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman and Shepard rescues.  I used to foster them until I got 4 of my own and ran out of room.  I later became the aggression trainer for all the rescue organizations so yes I've been bitten a million times.  People always tell me I should have been a vet.  I may even start a charity for animals if I get enough time.

My other hobby is being fundraising counsel for a state and IRS tax exempt non-profit public benefit Children's charity where we help the poor, underprivileged and distressed children by supplying them with living necessities, educational tutoring and organizational "fun" activity expenses.

So, that's enough about me.  What about you?

The Hose is an avid traveler. I've spent about 7 months traveling in the Middle East (Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon)  I've been to Egypt 5 times and Lebanon and Syria four times.  I've spent a total of about 11 months in Thailand on 6 different trips.  I speak a little Arabic and Thai.  I've done Europe via the youth hostel thing.  I've been to Mexico more time than I can count and have been to Costa Rica four times.

Oh, I'm single and strikingly handsome

I'm Jeremy , and I just moved back to Hayward, CA (SF Bay Area), about six months ago from the SF Bay Delta (Pittsburg). I have been moving back and forth from Hayward and Pittsburg for a while, which doesn't include a 10-month stint in Oakdale, CA, when I was 9... but I did spend most of my time in Pittsburg. I'm 18, born to Philippine-born immigrants in Hayward,CA , who are now separated.

I am a member of the world famous BallReviews.com Burning Sensations Bowling Team, in which we will be competing at the Junior World Team Challenge this upcoming June in Las Vegas (I would like to thank the man of ballreviews- Scott Scriver, for his support of the team. You are the man). I currently bowl leagues at Holiday Bowl in Hayward, and Cloverleaf Family Bowl in Fremont (Freak-mont)... however, my real home bowling centers will always be Delta bowl (formerly Brunswick Delta Bowl) in Antioch and Los Medanos Bowl in Pittsburg (which closed in 1997)- i grew up in those houses and have a lot of good memories there.

I did play classical piano (my favorites included the likes of Bach, Schumann, and Chopin) until last year or so. I also started to play the guitar recently. I think I will join a band soon, too... that's still flopping around in the water. I enjoy to go to local punk rock shows, and pretty much- concerts in general. My favorite bands are the Ataris and the Matches- a local punk band out of Oakland, CA (www.thematches.com). I love music, all kinds of it. I love karaoke parties, too. So if you're in the bay area, and have karaoke machine... you better call me! I am the man in all those 80s songs!

I am going to graduate June 7th from De La Salle Catholic High School (no, I don't play football!) in Concord, CA. I don't get great grades, but I can get my way with a 3.1something cumulative gpa. I am this year's Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook, and was the co-editor last year.  What is awkward about my high school right now is that it is 25 miles away, so I do make the commute every morning. I just thought it would suck to transfer out your senior year, and I didn't want to lose my editor job. Also, I'll be attending Cal-State Hayward this fall to major in Psychology. I am aspiring to be a counselor- for adolescents in school. Before all that, I attended various elementary schools, and spend most of those years (5th-8th) at St. Peter Martyr School in Pittsburg. Good times over there.

So yeah, pretty much, I'm a loser who likes to bowl a lot.

Im a sports nut and played everything as a youngster. Im now paying for it at the age of 38 (my birthday last week).
Arthritis is a pain and never mock the afflicted.
Golf was my talent, but the walk got too far.
I love Carp fishing although I dont like the rain, well it doesnt like me thats the problem.
Bowling is more fun as its indoors and you can at least play that when it rains.
Well I can, but probably not as well as most of you.
I would love some coaching, but as the only coach I know lives 80 miles away I guess that never going to happen.
I play for the fun of the competition and I remember its only a game.
You can always spot me on the lane as Im the one with the smile on my face even if Im only on 125 going into the 10th.
Friends are more important than winning in my book, and its always better to win 8-2 than to win 10-0. If I never win 10-0 then I may always have a friend.
Just remember a smile is worth so many pins and a frown misses more than it gets. As I always say which comes first the smile on you face or the great score that you just threw.
