That is pretty easy to answer, actually. First off, you guys are hilarious. Secondly, the more hand you have (or in my case 2), the harder you have to roll it to get the ball down the lane. In my bowling center, they only oil 32 feet, so you really have to juice up the ball speed to keep the ball on your own side of the head pin. Just because manufacturers release more and more aggressive balls, does not mean that bowling centers are going to lay down more and more oil to compensate. So, us as bowlers, have to roll the ball harder. GRANTED...we do not have to buy these balls. But, in order to keep up with the industry and in order to have something newer and fresher, 75% of the balls released right now have earlier roll characteristics and bigger backend reactions. Everything leads to faster ball speeds.
