I just discovered recently that Frames which was previously on Palm and Pocket PC platforms is now available in the Android Market. Great support and a great product.

I use Pinpal on my iPhone. I like it a lot. It is kinda expensive for an app though at $9.

No, it's about $10 I think for Frames. I actually use Strike Out Stats (I bought into it before Frames was available for Android) and it works well and is $4.99. Frames just has a lot more features. I just don't want to dump an app that I already paid $5 for just to spend another $10. There are free demos to try them out though.

Does anyone know of any Apple Apps that show the lanes with the dot, arrows, lane markers, pins.....

The ones that I see only show the pins. I'm looking for something that shows the entire lane, something like those dry erase clipboards that you can write on with a dry erase pen to mark your target/breakpoint and such? This would be a useful tool for coaching kids (and adults) as well.

I know it sounds like I'm in denial, but I'm not.

Frames doesn't show the entire lane but does show the approach dots and the arrows. It doesn't have an input for break point. But having the ability to enter where you're standing and your target at the arrows is good information to have so you can see how much or how little you move during a set. You can also enter if it was a pocket hit or not so you can see your pocket percentage, which to me is more important than strike percentage.

Thanks for the response. I'm looking for a something that would show the entire lane with all the markings on it. Is Frames for Apple or Android? I did a search on my iPhone but I can't find it to check it out, so might be Android. I actually would like to to have that lane board so that I can use my iPad and use my finger or a stylus to mark all the important placements, and to show my kids where to lay the ball down, the target arrow or board, the breakpoint, and where their ball entered at the pins. Something like this would be very useful for me. Thanks again!

I was thinking it was available on iPhone, but then I remembered that the developer (www.warilysoftware.com) said that he will look into it some time this year. So it's not available yet for apple users.

I run both Pinpal and Frames. Good and bad with each. I hat that Frames will close out and you cant go back to it after a certain amount of time, but I do like the fact that I can put where I stand and where I'm targeting. Not too mention the pocket button too. Keeps great stats also. Pinpal is great, easy to use, keeps just as much stats. Only gripe is that there's no section to put notes and such, such as where your standing and targeting. Both around 10 bucks.
