Where I bowled for several years and worked for a few
closed its doors this past weekend. Ridiculous pricing ($4.75/person/game, 4.50 for shoes) and old pinsetters made gaining and keeping customers difficult. Even league members were bailing. They were demonstrably frustrated with paying $2.50/game, being jacked by the center for lineage, and always having issues with the machines.
Anybody interested in investing in a bowling center should call the managing company of the building. Profitablility is possible without the greedy corporate institution.
