I am simplifying the usual standard message:
Short (37 and less) - usually play outside part of lane
Medium (38-42) - could be any part of lane
Long - (43 and longer) usually play inside part of lane
However 2 things, lane topography and lane house shot memory, are major factors that may make you play out of the areas described above.
Please see these 2 Kegel articles on lane play:
http://www.kegel.net/V3/ArticleDetails.aspx?ID=46http://www.kegel.net/V3/ArticleDetails.aspx?ID=2 Specifically speaking to that pattern, at 37 feet and heavy, the shot looks tricky from the graph. With that volume my bet is that it will feel like a medium length pattern. However, it is SUPER flat in the middle - there should not be any hold there. Without knowing the lane surface or topography, I would look to start outside with whatever equipment works out there and try to stay outside by balling down.
As already said though, let the lanes be your guide. Outside might not be the best option based on topography and/or house shot memory. Be prepared to blow up Plan A - but don't be fooled either. Pay attention to where bowlers are having success and see if that works for your game too.
