This pattern is both brutal and extremely simple.  Just hit what you're aiming at, and be consistent with your speed, revs, and angle of rotation, that's all it takes. 

We have Defy and higher friction lanes, so I'm sure it played drier than it will at the tournament, but given what I saw on the livestream, the limits felt appropriate.  Misses inside go high, literally zero miss room inside.  There is plenty of hook on the back, so getting soft and floating it a bit further outside with something with a bit of surface on it worked well.  My Rocket looked extremely good.  Tour Nano was too strong wherever I tried to play with it, but I imagine it will be just about right down there.  My Tour Solid was actually a bit too quick off the spot initially, but once I broke the lanes down some, it looked really good.  If you like being firm and rolling it, you'll love this pattern.  You can literally throw it directly into your breakpoint because it WILL hook. 

However, it's speed sensitive and angle of rotation sensitive, though not incredibly rev sensitive.  Matter of fact, the nicer you are to it at the bottom, the smoother the transition was.  I have a lot of video, working on uploading it now. 

Playing outside and being firm led to carrydown making your ball wiggle at the breakpoint.  Playing a small swing worked well, but it doesn't last long.  Chasing it inside, the best look is actually fairly deep and hooking most of the lane.  Obviously the problem with that is that once you get inside, the only direction you have to go is further left.  I beat up a pair by myself in an hour, and although Ice on lower friction lanes will hold up longer, I'm not expecting too much. 

Basically, it's obvious what you need to do, and it's also obvious you CAN'T do that because you'll tear up the shot too quick.  Very fair shot, very fun shot, very challenging shot all the way around.  It's a shot that will make you cuss through smiles.  I'd love to have this for a league shot.

I would expect a Pure to be great on it, due to the move of the ball. Don't want anything jumpy off the spot when playing on something that tough.

People would get a better feel for things if you would show 7 consecutive shots with one ball rather than 7 edited strikes with different balls.

captain complaino just calls it like he sees it.  If you want to make a video that will help people do so.  But a highlight reel isn't helping anyone unless you are trying to sell balls.

Milo,  my best shot was laying ball on 10 throwing to 7, so a much tighter line.  The inside line was playable which makes sense, if you see how the masters shot was played there were a lot of people playing that inside line and that was on a similiar flat pattern.
