I personally never had the SSP, but I have a customer who had both, and the Animal was about 4-5 boards stronger on average. The Animal was much more aggressive up front, and had better pop on the backend. Although my customer did have uses for both balls, once he drilled the Animal, the SSP stayed in his bag for the most part. Both balls were drilled similar, with the mass bias on the Animal in position 2 on the drill sheets, and the SSP, if it had a mass bias, would have ended in the same general area if the pin, cg, and mass bias were in a line.
