Title: ANNOUNCEMENT!

Robert and Sandra Maxfield owners of SLSM Designs, The Bowlers Slide Sock and Striking Cat Bowling are proud to announce the purchase of Chisholm Trail Lanes of Duncan Oklahoma.  We will post the centers website address as soon as it is completed.  Our new center will be open this year with summer and extended hours. We will also have a full service pro shop on site with IBPSIA certification.

Thanks Everyone!

It's been a long time in the works, something like 6 years.  We had to be a little secretive.  The bad news is that we will not be in Orlando this year for BowlExpo.  Just too much to do during the summer.  We still have to move the existing pro shop and the slide sock work shop.  There will be a little Slide Sock delays  while the move takes place but hopefully not real long.

24 wood lanes and approaches, 6 pool tables, 3 video games, air hockey table and a crane machine.  It has an internet jukebox.  There was a website but it died and is being replaced by our new website as soon as it is finished.  The center is at the corner of hwy 7 and hwy 81.  Many things are changing including a new pro shop, updated cafe, masking units and glow package.  We will be changing some things by adding rent a lanes times and most likely color pin sweepers.  Other additions in the near future include coaching with video taping and youth programs.

I met Jeff at the Duncan city tournament a couple of weeks ago!  He's been drilling some balls for Dave on occasion.  I spent the week up there getting a few things done.  Oklahoma is going to be a great change for us.  We are looking forward to it.  The hard part so far has been getting all the permits and finding a house.

The center is real easy to get to.  Take 287 to Bowie and then hwy 81 to Duncan.  We are on the corner of Hwy 81 and Hwy 7.  Lots of work to do before the Grand Re-Opening but I will let everyone know.

Pop and CB

One of the first questions people asked me was "do you bowl"?   We will need some luck.  Seems we're doing 6 things at once for a while.

I wish you every success in your new venture.  But whatever you do, PLEASE don't stop making the Bowler's slide Sock.  Or if you do, let me know in advance so I can figure out how many it will take for the rest of my life.  Are you going to trade "Hook 'em Horns" for "Boomer Sooner"?  --  JohnP

We are finalizing a location for Bowlers Slide Sock production today.  There will be some slight delays while we move but nothing major.  Funny things about moving to Soonerland.  I bet we looked at about 30 or 40 homes in Duncan and the majority had one room painted Red and White with OU on the wall in big letters.  If it wasn't that they had an Orange and White room.
