Ball needed atop my arsenal !!
« on: February 12, 2011, 10:57:57 AM »
I have the OK to get a new ball, right now i'm looking to add to the top of my aresnal. I have a pin down dimension, that is my go to ball right now. Then I have a Hy-Road, Freeze, spare ball. I'm a right between a stroker and tweener and throw about 15-16 mph. I really want something that will work on a heavy house shot, I don't bowl tournaments. I want a ball that has some length and a bit more backend than my dimension. I'm considering the Taboo, Mission 250k or 2.0 and World Beater.

Please any input would be great.

I forgot to put that in, but that is right up there also. I'm afraid it will be too strong. I will watch Tom Hess throw it today on the masters show.

Predictability in oil - Roto-Grip Theory

Backend in oil - Storm Invasion

I always take both if I know im bowling on a oily pattern
My AZO Area Checks (2) fit exactly inbetween the two...very underrated ball

I'm drilling a mission domination (250k) this week...i have a used mission 2.0 & taboo im getting refitted for me, i can let you know my findings...

The new motiv primal would do ya just right. Glides through the heads ,gets a nice midlane read and then pops a strong backend motion. And as with all motiv pieces has great carry and continuation through the rack. Goodluck with whatever you decide but give motiv a look atleast, sure glad I did!

I wouldn't look past the C*(System) alpha-max as a heavier oil bowling ball.  I got mine 2 weeks ago and really like the strong motion down lane.  The ball really gets through the heads cleanly and doesn't start up early at all.  Plus, there is a $50 rebate on this ball.  I used it on a house shot that has a heavier volume of oil last week and it worked very good.
