..one important bowling tip that you believe can help and aide your fellow bowlers.

My contribution/tip would be:  Keep your feet slow...now I know some would disagree, but fast feet can be your worst enemy.

Anyone else want to share?

It's already been mentioned several times in this thread, but I cannot downplay its importance...

Make your spares.

Concentrate as hard or harder on spares than as on strikes.  Let your last thought before beginning your approach be a positive one.  --  JohnP

Another one I find extremely helpful (although I only do it half the  time) is posting the shot.  It keeps me in check.

Tip #1) Never say the word "CANT"----as in I CANT strike, or I CANT make this, or I CANT carry the 10, or I CANT hit this lane. Too often when someone says they cant, they dont or wont.

Isnt it amazing the clutch bowlers when they need a shot, they always make the shot. It might not carry----but when you think you CAN and WILL, the shot you make is typically alot more loose and free. The kind of shot you want to make when it matters.

Mine is "Wait for it at the Top",as in waiting or ever so slight pause at the top of my

back swing for gravity to bring the ball down into my swing.

The more I practice,the luckier I get.

Look at every shot from a coaches perspective.  Every shot has the ability to teach you something.  Also the only time you truly learn...is when you are bowling bad.  :D

I would say to become a good spare shooter.  I can't remember how many times that making spares has bailed me out in certain situations where carry hasn't been great.  The extra pins from making spares are the difference between bowling a crap game and bowling a good game.

Of all things, keep your cool. If you lose your head because you left a ten-pin, your game is shot for the rest of the night. Walk away, take a breath, and get back into the game.

Balance at the Line is everything.  If you have to take a side step to keep from falling or hop at the line, then you are not on balance.  If you are not on balance, then you do not throw your best shot.

Never think about what you did wrong.  Focus on making the shot correctly.  Whatever you are thinking about is what you are going to do.  If you think "don't pull the ball" you will pull the ball.  If you think "roll the ball over your mark" you will roll the ball over your mark.
