Slowing Down!!

Hey is it illegal if i strap 50lb weights to my ankles while bowling to slow myself down??? Recently its like im sprinting to the line and my ball is spraying all over the place. All season I have been slow and smooth and now for about the last 2 weeks I have been rushing everything. Anyone have any tips to keep yourself slow??

I don't know if it's illegal or not, but if you do, please post video here for us to see.

I have the same problem, I have to remind myself every shot or I'm "off to the races" on my approach.

Lol most of the time I dont even realize im doing it. Like last night for instance i go 179-204-245... The 10th frame of the 2nd game I finally realized I was rushing everything lol!

I try to think of "strolling in the park" to keep from rushing the line. It doesn't work all the time but does most of the time.

I have this problem quite often.  What I do is count my steps.  The slower I count, the slower I walk.  Just have to get the right tempo.  Give it a try sometime when you're practicing.

white bowlers tape on toes of shoes with SLOW on your left foot and DOWN on your right foot. it works. lol.
