Just like when DV8 was getting started and they had the music group Goes Cube as part of their pro staff.  It didn't do much since they're long gone from the site.

Here's a story from when they were first announced as pro staff members:  http://stereosubversion.com/news/goes-cube-join-dv8-bowling-pro-staff

It will do as much for bowling that it would if the NFL signed a PBA bowler. ZERO! Guess if you have extra money to pass out it is what they want to do. Like some comments I heard, actual bowlers are getting turned down and this guy gets signed. Hmmm.

Not much for another sport's defense, but didn't a former MLB player just make the cut or make the show on the PBA50 tour? No, he isn't active in the MLB, but he was a former pitcher (I want to say Orioles).

It was John Burkett. Pitched for the Giants, Braves, Marlins and I think the Red Sox. Maybe the Orioles too, but I don't remember it.

John Burkett is a really good bowler in his own right. I had a chance to watch him in person last week in Fountain Valley and he's the real deal (with apologies to Bill O'Neill). It wouldn't surprise me to see Storm go after Mookie Betts, who is also supposed to be a very talented bowler.

Go the route of soda companies ect and sign music talent to your brand for ads ect.

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Why would "the fan boys" be upset. Lol.  It shows that the OTHER MANUFACTURERS can't even keep their real bowlers, and employees..but storm can sign football players lol.

I can tell you which company has their sh*t together and which one doesn't by the article.  They're just flexing their muscles...

From the article: "What about bowling attracted CJ? "It's a mental game, people try to compare it to golf but I don't know if it's as mental as golf, but it is on the mental side of it. It's more technique than skill and athleticism."

Another example of how bowling is misunderstood.  A lot of the touring pros would disagree with CJ's statement.  You need to be in great athletic shape to maintain the schedule that a lot of the pros endure.  Dozens of games per week, constant use of the knees, wrist, core, shoulder, etc.

Typical bowlers are not in shape.  CJ is in shape...he just needs his core bowling joints/muscles toned up.

I don't understand all the hate! I agree with Hank Scorpio....probably won't matter, but certainly can't hurt! All you really want to do is expand your brand, and increase your market share.

I'm sure CJ Anderson has a bunch of fans and followers who will now know that he can bowl too! This has to be good in attracting more everyday people to the sport. I know when I found out Jerome Bettis was an avid bowler I was psyched!!

I'm also sure that CJ's established celebrity will open up other doors and avenues that Storm may not even be aware of right now. We shall see how they promote this. I think it's great!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!
