Hey guys, just looking for suggestions here.  Got a tournament coming up in Vegas and it looks like I’ll be limited to 4 balls on the airplane.

Stats:

Ball speed around 16 MPH
250-300 revs
PAP 5 ¼, ½ up

Gold Coast:  Medium oil, flying back ends.

Orleans – Heavy oil, carry down problems around 2d game.

What I’ve decided to take

Lane 1 Pearl bomb – Benchmark ball, handles lite to medium
Lane 1 Blueberry – Covers medium to medium heavy.
Lane 1 XXXL – Covers lite to dry.
DT Anomaly - Heavy

I shouldn’t have any problems at the Gold Coast, just not sure about the Orleans.  The Anomaly, for me, is condition specific.  Fresh lanes I can use it skid/flip.  On carry down though I ding a lot of corners trying to arc it around the carry down.

I can scuff the blueberry and probably use it by squaring up to the pocket.

Storm is selling us their balls during the tournament for just $100 drilled, I’ll probably get a couple drilled up and just ship them back.

Haven’t used Storm for about 3 years though, give me some suggestions.  Heavy oil with carrydown, weak backends.

Also, anyone bowled in Laughlin, got the B.O.B tourny there.  How's their conditions compared to Goldcoast/Orleans.  Don't know if I'll stick around for the TAC or not in Feb.
