I'd be looking at assyms from companies that are intending you to use it as such.
The Brunswick rep, IMHO is very spot on as the brainiac is made for what you're looking for.
The crux pearl, with erg is quite mild, I think. For me erg fits in-between R2S and R2X. A Byte on closeout, a zero gravity with step 2 would definitely fit the bill.
The ball I own is a HCskid pin up, MB kicked out far from the thumb...length with an arcing backend. My sinister drilled the same is even better!
Other balls I can think of...
*Seismic Photon Low mass bias (would be awesome)
*Ridiculous assym with polish would most likely work..
*Dv8 schizos are relatively cheap $70 bucks and were not very flippy, but calm in all of my personal sightings
For me taking any ball that is too strong, adding step 2 polish always gives me a ton of length.
I literally have this problem at a house I bowl at every summer. Super dry, and you gotta get left.
Absolutely nothing worked...
What bailed me out was a critical theory (its all about me lol) with step 2 over the OOB. Still to this day, I have never ever had a ball with more skid that that. I kept that ball for a long time, I vividly remember guys were bagging thunder line pearls and bringing out tropical heats/breezes..
I was waxing them with my 15 mph polish critical theory like a stud.
IMO it all reverts back to surface and what's going to work for u..
