Tonight in league a woman who averages about a 105-110 bowled a 183 and screamed loudly on EACH strike and spare.  I understand celebration and excitement but how about courtesy?  Normally she screams with every mark but tonight she was higher pitched and louder.  I want to know what the USBC rules say about etiquette in league regarding this kind of distraction.  

The president wasn't there and is with a sick relative so she may not be around the next few weeks.  There were over a dozen complaints.  The V.P. didn't want to do anything tonight.  There is no grievance policy in this league.   What does USBC say regarding this?

Sleepy and saw,

Plenty of male bowlers exhibit bad behavior when they begin to mess up, such as kicking ball returns, launching balls from all the way back on the approach far onto the lane, screaming profanities, getting inebriated and downright contentious with fellow bowlers, etc.

Although I agree that echidapus should've said something to the classless woman, it has nothing to do with it being a mixed league, as plenty of men's leagues have way worse arseholes that get our ire, particularly so-called "classic scratch leagues".

Being rude and inconsiderate are part of the fabric of modern society.  

Such is life.

I think there is a tactful way to ask her to hold it down.  Do it away from everyone else so as to not put her on the defensive.  You could explain that it is distracting to others, and see if she wouldn't mind keeping it down.

I don't understand why the two options presented above are:

1) Tell her to "stfu"

2) Bowl in a men's league

Pretty sad that the idea of just asking her to quiet down nicely took 8 posts to make it on here.
