Hey guys, went to league last night and found out that I had won not just one, but two balls and $50 in store credit from my local proshop for some superbowl bet I placed.

I'll most likely be giving 1 of the balls away to my dad, but still interested in hearing your thoughts on what two pieces you think would help round out my arsenal.

For reference, I am a medium speed 2 hander. Definitely not on the high end of rev rate for two handers but it's somewhere in the +400 range.

Here's my current arsenal, and am completely open to trying a new company -

1. Rip'd Solid - too strong for 90% of what I face.
2. Web Tour - so much stronger on the backend than I expected, haven't really gotten the chance to use it on something longer.
3. Black Widow Dark Legend - love it, strong but not too strong, with a defined angularity. My most versatile piece.
4. Scandal Pearl - usually move 5 left from where I throw the Dark Legend once the lanes open up and it is a pocket magnet.
5. Purple Pearl urethane - I use this to open up my angles on flatter patterns.
6. Black Hammer - My go to ball for game 1 on flat sport shots.

Note that my Dark Legend is by far the most used and I'd be comfortable with outright replacing it. My idea was to use the free ball credit towards such a replacement piece and the $50 credit towards adding a weaker ball to fill the big gap between my Purple Pearl and my Scandal Pearl.

Was looking at a Hyper Cell Fused to take over for the Dark Legend and a White Hot Badger or After Dark to take up a spot under the Scandal Pearl. Yes, I know those are not comparable balls, but as long as they offer me a distinctly different reaction under the Scandal, that's all that I want.

I bowl on a house shot league (Ave 200-210), a rotating sport shot league (Ave 160-190 depending on length), and try to make it to 1 tournament a month.

I'd like something that offers a distinctly different look. Either being tamer overall or cleaner and snappier.

I'm torn between wanting something that will let me stay straighter and further right for longer, vs having something that I can move in deep and swing out into friction.

Please note, I've never really had any luck playing left of 20 at the arrows. Whether that's because I don't practice it enough, or because I don't have the equipment for it, I'm really not sure.

The problem is that I just don't have the high ball speed that a lot of the power players have, so it makes comparing ball reactions difficult. 

Now lemme start by saying of what you’re looking at, I only have the After Dark Pearl and it’s everything I could ever ask for. I don’t use anything else for league.

But I paid $100 out the door for mine. You sure you wanna use a free ball on the lowest priced ball out there?  Hell that $50 store credit will cover most of the cost of the after dark pearl.

Go big man. Get one of the high priced balls!

In our line, dark legend solid would be close to a Black Ops with surface. Take a Black Ops to 2000 and let the fun begin.

And if you want to stay right, After Dark Pearl.

But... If you want high priced, go Space Time Continuum with some surface. Not going to be as angular as the Ops imo, but it's a big ball.

PhysiX, Hyper Cell Fused, Jackal Pearl, Katana Legend.

Maybe hold out to see what’s up with the Halo Pearl and Conspiracy Pearl.

$50 credit for something to complement the Scandal Pearl. I would say high RG Pearl or Hybrid to continue moving deeper and/or more length. Hyroad, Hyroad Pearl,White Hot Badger. Could also consider a Hustle Ink or After Dark series.

Also liking the call to replace the Scandal Pearl with an Idol Pearl down the road.

Sounds good. I'm leaning towards the Hyper Cell Fused and White Hot Badger. Hopefully they can help me win some prize money to add an After Dark to my bag a few months down the line.
