I never had until last night. Came in the tenth frame after six in a row..sht..

I've left the 7-9-10 a couple of times, but never the 7-8-10.

First time I ever saw someone leave the 7-9-10, I saw it picked up. In fact, other than myself (I've never made it), I've seen the 7-9-10 converted three or four times. But I've never seen anyone pick up either the 7-9 by itself or the 8-10.

No, I bowl in a men's league and no one throws a backup ball....just messing with you.  Have seen it once and it was caused by pins falling very odd into one another.

I've left solid 7-9 before, but this was a first..

I have left the 7 9 10 quite often, it kinda sucks, but never the 7 8 10.

Are you left handed?  Being left handed myself, I have left this more than once (and actually made it more than once too..LOL)  It is more common for a right handed bowler to leave the 7-9-10.  Sounds like mostly bad luck and a ball that had rolled out (right handed) or was still hooking (left handed).

I have never actually seen this leave left before!

Just trying to imagine the "look" of the ball coming into the pocket, is bewildering!

Ball must have died almost completely before reaching the pocket and just skidded thru the deck area.....bizarre!

last night i left a pocket 9-10, i have left that many of times, i never heard of a pocket 7-8-10, ive left a 7-9-10 a few times and the weirdest leave ive had is a pocket 4-6-9 last season.

teamate in one of my leagues is right handed and left a pocket 7-9-10. He likes to stand on the 40-50 board and hook the whole lane with a slow rolling, big hook and left this. I was amazed.

I've actually made the 7-9 Twice,  about 20 years apart.  First time the 9 pin flew into the 7 pin (bottom of the 9 hit belly of the 7.

Second time I just barely touched the 9 (more or less whiffed it).  9 fell down, bounced once and as it laid down a second time the top of the 9 just caught the belly of the 7.

Never left a 7-9-10 though, I would assume the method is the same.

Watched a Buddy of mine leave the 7,8,9,10.  Yea I know but watched him do it twice in two different houses.
