Anyone bowl in a Cruise or Vacation League?
« on: February 07, 2005, 01:07:04 AM »
Being a travel agent, I'm thinking of putting a few of these together for some bowling centers around here.

If you bowled in one, I have a few questions.

1)  How much do you pay per night?
2)  Is it in a mixed league?
3)  How do you decide the rooming list?  Is your entry just for one person?
4)  Is there a fixed date from the start of the league that the trip will take place?

If you wish, you can PM me with these.

Thanks

there's a pretty big "Vegas" league at Hurst, or there used to be. Call Otis at the pro shop, I think he's one of the league officers, maybe he can answer some of your ????s,..jim  8172822401

Hi, I've bowled in them in the past, and run one now.  Basically, bowlers pay $15 a night, if your linage is 7.5, then your getting 7.50 per bowler per night into you trip funds.  Mixed leagues, each team gets 2 rooms and 4 plane tickets, they figure it out beyound that.  There is a fixed date, I tell everybody the dates of the trip at the beginning of the season so they have 8 months to arrange their schedules.  If the date is flexible, it's very tough for people to plan their time off.
