I bowled there 2 years ago for our Elks National tourny... The house was called Freeway lanes or something like that.

I did for 2 years at Varsity Lanes.  There is also a house called Al-Mar Lanes, which is the newer of the 2.

I bowled at Varsity which seemed to be a nice house. I think old time pro Don Geanelo was bowling beside me.

I'm sure you were bowling next to Don Genalo. He subs with his in-laws team there from time to time. I'm sure he will enjoy the "old pro" comment.

Jay Young is the proprietor of Varsity is another one those "old pros". Great guy.

Yeah i used to bowl a Northwest Ohio travel league years back and i had only ever bowled at Al Mar. I also got my Bronze certification last year at Almar, but had never been to Varsity. Im only 20 minutes from there so i may look on bowling a day or 2 there next year. We have a findlay team that bowls up there on mondays and wednesdays. I heard the monday night 3 man team 4 game league is fun and tough.
