Anyone bowling CA State in Riverside?
« on: February 22, 2004, 10:06:24 AM »
Just wondering if anyone is bowling CA State in Riverside.  My team is set to bowl Singles and Doubles at 4:45 on July 10th and Team July 11th at 12:30PM.

Yes, I will also be there sometime in July, not really sure when, I'll have to find that out.  I don't know where you're coming from, but let me tell you, you couldn't find two more different houses to hold the tournament at.  Riverside Lanes is one of the easier shots around, at a local tournament there the director asked them to put a tougher shot out, and that was the day I shot my back to back 300's, and Arlington Lanes has some older wood lanes that is usually tough to get a consistent read on.  I know all bets are off when state is there, but it will certainly be a shock going from one of those centers to the other.  Hope to see you there, and I'll find out the exact dates.

The game, we're coming from the LA area, actually about half hour north of LA.  We are going down Saturday and staying the night.  It's about an hour and a half drive or so. Thanks for the info. I'll pass it on to my teammates.

Any ideas on hotels near either center?  My teammates want to know if there is any Indian Casino in the area.

Hey Thong Princess, not sure about hotels, I'm sure there are a ton in the area, Riverside is growing quite a bit, but I do know of an Indian Casino called San Manuel which is in Highland, maybe a half hour drive or so away, right next to San Bernardino, still trying to get word on the exact dates, but I believe it is the last weekend in July we're going, bowl well while you're there.
