BTM rates the Paradox to have more total hook, a bigger backend and about the same length.

I know but wanted to get feedback from someone that has actually thrown them both because sometimes not always accurate

I haven't thrown both, but I am seeing more backend snap on average from the critical.  More overall with the paradox.  Everyone seems to be playing with the surface of their paradox too.

+1 for the Paradox
a lot of the EBI staff are using it whenever possible (since they can throw any of the 4 brands)
that has to say something as far as Im concerned

Paradox reads the mids a littlle heavier and has more all around hook. The Critical reads the mids, but looks to explode on the backend.

The Paradox is definitely smoother in back as it reads more in the mids.   Don't make any mistake though- the Paradox is a very strong ball and can handle heavy/flat patterns easily.  It also handles surface changes nicely and the cover seems to be holding up well.

The Critical as others have said tends to save more for the back and will be a little more angular.  Without having seen it in person, I would guess it gets another 1-2 feet downlane based on its cover/core match.  But both balls would offer good continuation.
