I'm originally from Ellsworth, KS. but live in Oklahoma now. Although I don't know him, Hamster is another person from KS. He lives at Topeka, I believe.

Well, whoever's from Wichita - Let me know how to get ahold of you . I'll be bowling WIBC on May 12-13, and WIBC Queens at least the 15th and 16th. I'd love to meet up with a few of you!

I'm from Kansas City, KS.  Also have in-laws in Pomona, KS, near Ottawa, which is about 15 minutes south of Lawrence.

Both ksucat and I live in Wichita.

Mumzie - I was planning on watching some of the Queens and figured on looking you up during the competition. I'm sure ksucat is interested as well.

Hey BowlingDude, I've got to be in KC April 17th to bowl the state tournament anyway, so I might as well make it a day.  Lol, there's only one bowling alley in Lawrence, so I guess we could make it Royal Crest, unless we could go to Jaybowl on the KU campus.  I've got a friend that works in Chanute . .

Kyle, I drove by your area as I was bowling in Pittsburg last Saturday.  Got a $5 off coupon for Chicken Annie's and that paid for the whole meal.  Great stuff.  You need to make a trip to watch the ladies bowl Queens this May.

My wife will also be attempting the Queen's tournament.  I have kid duty, but hope to be able to cheer her on and watch the other fine ladies perform.

I was in Thunderbird (Team house) the other night and was very impressed with the improvements made to the inside.  Nice artwork for the side walls and behind the counter.  Heard the restrooms were remodelled as well.  Synthetic lanes with wood approaches...drool.  League scores on the THS there are ridiculously high.  Every time I sub, there is at least one honor score.  Parking may be a problem as there is limited space.  Outside of building not much to look at, but inside is very nice.

My wife and I bowl leagues at Northrock (D/S & Queens) on separate nights (we separate so one of us can stay home with the kids).  Old synthetic lanes and approaches.  Lanes were supposed to be replaced this year, but were only patched.  Saw some of this patch explode into white dust one league night.  Approaches are nasty when humidity is high or you get near the edges.

Mumzie, I will look for you.  When I'm not cheering on Mrs. Ksucat, I am available for ball caddy duty.  Strong back with a weak mind.

We've got the women's state tournament here the last couple weekends in April so I might be working during the day on the 17th.  How long are you going to be in Lawrence that day?

hey yall!! Happy to see this many ppl. I will be in Lawrence prolly from 1 to whenever I get done with the pepsi tournament. If every1 wants to meet up a diff date, and in a diff town, then that would be good. Wichita has lots of allies, that would be an ideal town. What do you guys think??? Whats a date that most of us could be there??

And people from Kansas will tell you there's a reason Toto stayed in Oz.  West Ridge Lanes in Topeka is a pretty nice place, it's where "my" shop is too (meaning the one I work in).  I get free bowling and am fairly certain I get discounted bowling for the people working with me.  ALSO, Gage Center Bowl, the one with Laneshield in Topeka has a frequent bowlers card they give to everyone that bowls there, and it's good for 79 cents a game all summer to you and whoever you bowl with.  Don't know when it starts, but we could even arrange get togethers a couple times this summer, cause 79 cents a game is nothing.
