As much as I hate to, it's back to the wrist brace...
« on: August 21, 2010, 06:30:07 PM »
Managed to make it about 4 years without wearing one but I tore the hell out of my wrist at a tournament last month and was told by a professional that either (a) I start wearing the brace again or (b) risk doing a lot of damage that will carry over outside of the sport of bowling.

Mike Machuga, if you're reading, sorry man -- those were good tips you gave me 4 years ago about how to ditch the brace and I tried, but it just wasn't meant to be. I've got to go back to "cheating."

Now I get to re-fit all my stuff (thank goodness for a home-based shop) and re-learn my adjustments all over again. Having said that, since I haven't kept current on recent advances in wrist brace technology, if I'm going to go I might as well go all in. I'm still using a Robby's Revs I...is there anything that has come out in recent years that's better? Any opinions on the Storm Gadget?
