Elite Express Triple Ball Roller
« on: April 01, 2007, 07:49:57 AM »
Has anyone seen or used one of these?  I like how it's slimmer than all other triple rollers, and the lighter bag will help keep the entire piece under 50 pounds (saving money at the airport).  Just wondering if it's durable.

Thanks for any input.

It is slimmer and it's pretty durable. Just figure it's a three ball tote you can roll. There isn't room for shoes,etc. It's a nice bag. Are you interested in one?

Can't say as I've seen the triple ball roller in action, but I bought my wife one of their double rollers.

A couple months after purchasing it one of the balls that holds handle in place fell out rendering it a 2 ball tote. She emailed Elite, guy said they had fixed a problem with something in the handle design and sent her a replacement, told her to keep the other.

Besides the annoyance of me carrying around the two balls for her while waiting on UPS, I was impressed by the fact they stood behind their prodcut and were nice about making it right without a lot of hoops to jump through. Seems to be a rare thing these days.

I'm interested in something that is smaller than the traditional three ball roller in both size and weight.

The concept of not being respected for the fact that it says "Elite" on the bag, I really don't care.  If someone is not going to respect me because of the bag that I roll in with, then it's their loss and in that sense, I wouldn't want their respect.  Let them respect me for the game that I take out of the bag.  Last I checked, the bag isn't very instrumental to anyone's success.

Looking at the picture on BP.com, I'd have to question how stable it is.  I realize it's a second bag to carry additional balls and is not intended to be a primary bag.  But being narrow and with those little teeny wheels that don't look very far apart, it looks like it'd be real easy to tip over.

Also if Vise makes substantially the same bag (or they're just reselling Vise bags) for a lower price, I'd get the Vise bag anyway.

It's killing me that I'm a Turbo Fan and I'll end up using a Vise Grip bag.  I really don't carry much acessories with me other than tape, rosin bags, and shoes, so i have a tote with a shor compartment that is more than ample.  with the amount of travel we do in the summer months, size and weight becomes a factor in the airports and it gets expensive.

If it's the same bag as Vise's bag, the reviews are good from respected BR members;
